Contributed to the development of engaging content for the game, focusing on quest and encounter design. Collaborated closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure cohesive gameplay experiences. Also contributed to tool updates, core library updates, and design and QA process improvements.

Key Contributions:

  • Designed and implemented engaging zone events, quests, delves and encounters, enhancing player immersion and gameplay variety.
  • Collaborated with designers and engineers to create and optimize content pipelines, ensuring efficient content implementation and tool performance.
  • Participated in playtesting and feedback sessions, iterating on designs based on player experiences and technical constraints.

Achievements:

  • Implemented the Delves content, which was well-received by players.
  • Created multiple design tools utilizing Lua to streamline a range of content implementation, reducing turnaround time substantially (e.g. encounter design improved by ~60%, narrative design improved by 90%).
  • Incorporated tool functionality from my Lua tools into the C# core toolset, benefiting the entire design team.
